It's long form content, not sure how Damus handles that.
still laughing at pacific peso, hadn't heard that one before
and thanks for the zap and shout-out, much appreciated!
It took a good 2 years of effort to get any traction on Twitter, until the algorithms made it completely opaque and engagement went into a freezer.
Nostr was quite a bit quicker, but the world is smaller here. But it does take effort. Biggest difference is discovery of people, that's simpler, but harder. The only algorithm you have is what people you follow repost, and maybe hashtags, but that is a hit or miss for me.
“Usability is about people and how they understand and use things, not about technology” -Steve Krug (Author of Don’t Make Me Think)
At the conclusion of my first day on NOSTR I am left feeling that there’s still a massive usability and UX issue. I briefly talked about this with nostr:npub1aeh2zw4elewy5682lxc6xnlqzjnxksq303gwu2npfaxd49vmde6qcq4nwx today.
People do not like to think. But, in addition to that, we have an entire generation still alive today that has yet to master taking a selfie on their flip phone.
Mass adoption is only going to happen when usability issues are solved. And in order for that to happen…there has to be bridge builders.
And maybe mass adoption isn’t the goal. That’s fine, too. In which case carry on as it is. But if mass adoption is the underlying goal then this usability issue has to be resolved.
I am a nerd and I love nerds but we simply cannot have nerds trying to teach the masses…it rarely works. We need people who can read what the nerds say and break that down ELI5 style and get it to the masses.
Who are those people? Who are the bridge builders? Can you tag ‘em?

Since a few days, nostr:npub1r8wdfruydenz84fxfespcswuhcvyatx6umtd5xguexup49u500xskf50hn is doing quite some legwork on TikTok.
Slowly the topics will get broader.
jb55/nostr-js, heel basic. Maar is ook fire and forget, niks bijzonders.
Heb wel eens getest met Pablo's library, maar dat kreeg ik niet lekker aan de praat.
Already working on it:

Halving in exactly one month, at least according to this estimate.

Still waiting for a new ATH in BTC/MAC

Does this license type have a name?
It's fixed. Binance stopped with the price feed, so had to find another source.
Saw this video years ago, your post triggered some latent memory and YT search-fu was working nicely. Good luck finding these btw.
He has some other video's where he modified normal LED lights to underpower them making them last forever.
LED light bulbs are manufactured to fail by oversteering the power electronics. If they would be constructed properly, there's nothing that needs to break.
Regarding long lasting lights, this is definitely worth a watch:
And now, we wait...

OH MY LORD

Alternative, with 40 columns. Previous was 25.

I think this poops all over the rescaling, at least on Primal Web.
For a gram it's ~21 sats.
I can get 46k to work, but then I have to make way smaller pixels.
Hacked up a quick-ish test:

That's quite overwhelming. I kinda like it.
