Fellow retro game enthusiasts of New York! Long Island Retro Gaming Expo is happening this weekend, August 11th - 13th. Dozens of arcades, almost every console you can think of, rare computers, cool guests, tournaments, cosplay, live music, retro vendors, and more! And, of course, I'll be there with my setup of 50+ PCs with something for everyone. Don't miss out on a great gaming event! I'll see you there.

I have a public area with 10 machines, so I need regular people to be able to start a game with 10 players out of the menu. I'm starting to think it's just not possible.

Ok, looking for people with very specific Quake 3 knowledge:

How to increase the default number of clients? It defaults to 8. I want all spots to be open on the creation screen without having to set it manually every time.

I don't even like Rise of the Triad (although I do admire many of its aspects,) but I think its current re-release goes above and beyond. Here's Civvie 11's breakdown of all the new and improved stuff in the aptly named Ludicrous Edition:

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you. Fun exists on only one system in the entire Universe. The system is IBM PC. Also known as DOS.
