Why, much of it has to do with the person in the mirror and their choices, sure some people have an unfortunate circumstance. But I believe a majority spend too much time with the wrong people, doing the wrong things. It's all about life choices.

“Cuck buck” = fiat currency 💵 💴 💷

“DCA” = dollar cost averaging (not using all that 401k money at once and spacing out your buys to get the fluctuations in the market price of bitcoin making your “cuck bucks” go a bit further.

Now comes the battle to reject the programming and withdraw the funds, take the penalty and DCA those Cuck bucks into Bitcoin. God speed my friend 🫡

It's even worse than that. By saving inside the system, you are feeding the machine that ends up enslaving you.

Picture a small shop owner with a 401k. Instead of reinvesting profits to grow the family business and pass it to his children, he diverts a portion into a retirement fund. That fund buys shares in giant corporations building supermarkets. Those supermarkets are not bound by the same rules as the shop owner. They can run at a loss for years because the fiat system gives them near-endless credit. Cheap loans create new money, which fuels inflation and lets them undercut local competitors until the family shop cannot survive.

The cycle is brutal. The shop owner retires comfortably on his 401k, but only because he helped fund the corporations that destroyed his own business. His children inherit no enterprise, only the chance to work for wages at the supermarket he indirectly financed.

This is how fiat money quietly transfers wealth. New money created through debt flows first to large institutions and asset markets, inflating prices and concentrating power. Ordinary savers and small businesses are left with rising costs and shrinking opportunities. What looks like prudent retirement planning is in fact participation in a system designed to extract value from the many for the benefit of the few.

Pushing people into the stock market is one of the more sinsister and insidious aspects of the fiat system.

Along with this are the limits around how you can allocate YOUR money within the 401k. They are terrible

Almost everything else that the government (any government) has done to 'help' its citizens, or for the 'safety' of its citizens, is equally flawed and has equally ugly side effects.

Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

I drained 2 small IRAs that used to be 401ks into BTC via a Daily DCA.

The penalty and taxes sucked but today 3 years later it’s a rounding error on the gains

I love my partner so much that honestly I don’t care much for accomplishing much other than spending more time with her.

My primary driver in my life is getting food on the table, getting our bills paid, and keeping our needs met so I can spend time with her when I get home. Go on hikes with her when our schedules align. Try new foods in our favorite restaurants together. Travel to new places and share novel experiences together.

I’m frustrated by home much time I’m not around her these days. Late nights, early mornings (even now I’m working from our bed just so I can be closer to her while she rests).

I know we’ll get there, but I can wait for the chapter of our lives where we can do as we please with our time, wake up when we want, travel when and where we want. We’ll get there. This season of our lives is investment in ourselves and each other.
