Any old school 60/70's folk aboundđ§?
I'm not one btw. I was a little later in lineage, but this is a great tuneđđ».
Quality song. Prefer this one though:
There is a book called âCrystalising Public Opinionâ which depicts a compelling narration of how after WW2, the âelitesâ concluded the people could not be trusted to vote.
The idea was simply that their vote must be directed from the elites.
i.e. you think you vote for your interests and self determination, but the information you use to decide on the vote is manufactured for you.
That process started in the early 20âs for advertising purposes to create the consumer. It was expanded to cover a broader range post WW2 when Edward Bernayse realised if you could use âpropagandaâ for war, you could use it for peace and compliance.
I think you would like that book.
The last sentence is correct. It may be uncomfortable to read, and/or you may not see it as your responsibility ( which is fair too ) but the reach is greater on Twitter.
It is where the worlds collide.
Here is preaching to the converted ( for lack of a better phrase. )
I only found my way into bitcoin after finding quality voices on Twitter circa 2018/19. That would be impossible today.
lol. I read this as âmy girl is falling apartâ đ€Ł

Predestination is a good one.
Yep, He makes an awesome psycho in that movie!

Nice interview. I have a noob question.
If you can identify the people in a coin join, doesnât that undermine the point in doing the coin join at all?
Am I being dumb here?

Remember #Bitcoin Twitter?

Is that TopRoller account on here now?
We will need to agree to disagree here, I think.
It looks like you have smuggled in âit wonât make senseâ without specifying why, as if it is a given people would just agree with.
For me âthere will only be 21m bitcoinâ is more powerful an argument to not mess with it.
The entire premise of bitcoin is its fixed supply. No hand waving will obfuscate the fact that there are now 1.2 quadrillion bitcoin - especially for those who already want to throw stones.
I heard this argument before. It doesnât matter what the protocol level is IMO. And to suggest the scarcity perception changes that come with it donât matter, seems bizarre to me.
âThere is no such thing as words. There are only letters that make up the words, so now we call letters, wordsâ
Weâd have a hard time explaining why there will now be more than 21m bitcoin, if you could.
The big physics lie? Iâve been going down the Dark Matter/Dark Energy rabbit holeâthereâs no proof, just a theory to which patches a gap in physics.
Mike McCulloch joined the pod to discuss this and his theory of quantised inertia

Iâm 36 mins into this, and have two prevailing thoughts:
1. The idea of Dark Matter being worked out by the difference needed to make an equation work, is more common than we would think, e.g. it is exactly how economists work out âvelocity of moneyâ too lol.
2. I bet he doesnât know what an XPUB is đ
Seems like a super smart dude though. Will be interesting to see where it all goes!

I refuse to call them liberals.
Historically that would have meant ( amongst other things ) support of free speech.
They are way past thinking free speech should be paramount.

Twitter is where the worlds collide, or where the rubber hits the road etc.
It will always be more âentertainingâ IMO.
Thatâs not to say there arenât tradeoffs being on it, but for pure chaos, Twitter is where its at đ€Ł
Deffo not block size. Suspect âcacheâ means something else on there

Can somene help me understand how big these blocks are? Last block below 852406, says the cache = 57.2MiB, isnt that like 54MB?
