Many viruses can trigger long term illness, COVID, flu, SARS, EBV, etc.
US government ignored the warnings from ME/CFS patients and patient advocacy groups that the pandemic was going to trigger many more cases of ME/CFS, POTS, etc. Several studies show that roughly half of Long Covid cases meet ME/CFS diagnostic criteria.

I can't remember exactly when it happened (bad memory) but it was on some form mass transit - bus or train.
Treat the mobility device (walker, wheelchair, cane, crutches) as an extension of the person's body. Don't touch without asking first. You could cause an injury.

Research has been done on ME/CFS triggered by flu virus, as well as other viruses like SARS or EBV.

I'm sure they meant medical professionals, but what's with the weird fixation on wearing scrubs?
Most of employees in my doctor's office still wear masks even though the mandate is gone. So I actually have seen "someone in scrubs wearing a mask" recently.
My doctor was also masked, but she wasn't wearing scrubs. 😁
