if you have the physical space, you could buy two not very big SSD to use in raid (better with btrfs or ZFS) for the important data, and a large and cheap HDD for the blocks
there are other services that pay you sats for having your routing informations (ie: mission control data for lnd nodes).
Whether they sell them to chain anal companies or to other nodes to steal your good routing paths we all should avoid sending them.

For such sensible software we cannot trust any intermediary, being it snap store, flatpak hub nor the distro packages.
The only safe way is download from the original site and verify cryptographycally.
I would disincentive packaging Bitcoin wallet at all.

I'm growing a bit skeptical about services that automatically manages lightning network fee for the users, and those that pays some sats in change of their routing stats.
I used Lightning Terminal for a while for that purpouse but stopped a month or so ago.
At the beginning it was great, my routes actually increased, and then, suddendly, all my routings completely disappeared (without significant changes in my node configuration).
What if they sold my "good routes" to someone that opened channels to bypass me?
Same feeling for the services that gives you some sats in change of your lnd routing statistics.
