What breed are they? Most males will get tail curl with their adult fethers around 12-15weeks. The girls have a 'quack' while the boys have a rasp.
Oh yes how could I forget the CEO of weeds!!
As far as I'm concerned I've never paid for anything on Nostr. I tip content I enjoy.
Who are the farmers on nostr?

@tbone and I farm together
Inspired by your coffee soap the other day I gave the same process a go with Vanilla pods. I now have a very subtle smelling vanilla soap with vanilla seeds all through it. It looks like slabs of icecream!

Makes me nostalgic for reverse calling mates in the 90's
Yeahitsthe destruction that I'm worried about. I've been thinking about an elderberry for extra shade and I've heard the chickens love the berries as a treat so that feeds like a nice thing to do for them.
I've heard chickens love rosemary so that's definitely on my list of things to add. The side effect of adding to a fresh small is such a bonus.
I love this! We currently have some native shrubs for shade and cover and a few established fruit trees. I want to increase the variety of their forage food to decrease feed costs. There are some great options I'll try too.
What are you planting in your chicken area? How are you protecting those plants? And are they for your benifit, the chickens or the soil?

I feel you. We have had the driest year here and the rains just started. It's the absolute best feeling to have rain falling. I hope you get rain soon.
Country folk is a state of mind. A mind preoccupied with rain and sunshine โค๏ธ
One of my favourite things about country people is the sincerity with which they talk about the weather.

I'm so sorry ๐ that's heartbreaking
100% agree with this. Higher in protein, no sugar, super tasty! We love french toast occasionally in our home. The only downside of the is that I insist on speaking with an over-the-top french accent while cooking and serving them which it's honestly quite hard to sustain ๐
Do you have a picture of your set up? I'm thinking of using buckets but maybe a wooden trolly on wheels wood be more robust.
Looking into that for all our crew now, specifically the cattle. I'm hopeful it will help the pasture improve as much as boosting the overall health of the herd.
What did you change specifically or do you think it's down to cumulative improvement of lots of little things?
You can get fold up ones!
If a knife is only used to cut bread then that knife is still clean and can go back in the draw.
