Tor's not enough if you want anonymity. Stylometry is the first thing that comes to mind for de-anonymization over Tor. Your writing style can give you away instantly, so consider using something like Anonymouth to rewrite your posts before you make them.
The way you (physically) type (as in typos, typing speed, etc) is also very effective at breaking anonymity, so use software like kloak to get around that. Whonix comes with kloak already, so if you're using it (which you should be) you don't have anything to worry about there.
Consider browsing over Nitter as nostr:npub14a6q6xvt4wuv0wpdpfr336e4fweldtu6np3ehpw55h83xuw2h2zsgyz6rn said, since you want to limit your exposure as much as possible (especially on proprietary platforms).
This isn't even the tip of the iceberg, just so you know. True anonymity online is a rabbit hole that you'll spend a huge amount of time going down if you're serious. It's stupid for me to even give this advice in the way that I am with an identity tied to so much of the stuff I do online, but I don't have any plans to utilize the info so I might as well share it before I end up forgetting it.
Have fun on the tinfoil road! You'll get burned out if you don't :)
nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg I think the old UI was better, honestly. This UI feels much less smooth and is just generally worse
Hilarious watching the dumpster fire as a Monero user
Use case seems pretty obvious- a lot of people have serious accounts and meme accounts that they want others to know about
Personally I plan on having multiple accounts down the line as there are different types of content I'd like to publish
Which makes me realize that news agencies would like this feature since they always have a ton of regional accounts (not that I'm a fan of mainstream media)
Super dangerous, can't BELIEVE this stuff is legal!
Islam :)
Is it open source? Sounds like the sort of thing I'd rather self-host
We heard your feedback about our name. Confstr is no more! We are now #Comingle

Am I the only one who is gonna point out that this new name sounds like a dating app?
Helping was never their goal.
I think the same way at the ripe old age of 18- I think it's more about being normal
"A man is never morally neutral. That is why he is always either morally true or false, or both, which is the most frequent. People have acted and behaved differently, but they have always spoken in the same way about justice, truth, equality, and freedom: the wise men and heroes out of sincerity because of truth, and the politicians and demagogues hypocritically and out of interest. Still, the false morality of demagogues and hypocrites is no less significant to the topic we are discussing. Their feigned morality, their moral mask, their centuries-old campaigning with the words "justice," "equality ," "humanity ," and so on confirm the reality of morals as do the noble sufferings of heroes and saints. Political history, especially that of recent times, is full of examples of how enemies of freedom, while maintaining the apparatus for repression and spying, maintain at the same time another one for speaking incessantly and loudly of freed om and justice. Hypocrisy, as false morality, proves the value of true morality, just as the temporary value of forged money is owing to the fact that there is legal tender. Hypocrisy is a proof that everyone expects or requires moral conduct from everyone else."

"We can distinguish two independent and separate activities: aesthetic shaping and technical perfecting. The one tends to fulfill man's inexplicable desire for beauty; the other tends to meet man's need for function. Aesthetic designing tends toward diversity and individuality; technical perfecting tends toward uniformity and leveling."

This just exposes the BTC mindset lol; reflects poorly on your intelligence rather than Monero's viability.
Basic principle. I don't understand why BTC maxis can't grasp it. Fungibility is the most important requirement for digital cash
Is there a working bridge that goes the other way around? I want to get some friends started, it's alright if I have to self-host it
As I uploaded a video to https://satellite.earth/cdn today just to keep a backup of it, I thought about how wasteful that was since probably many others have already saved that same video in many other places, and I thought about how good it would be if we could just store a hash of these things and everybody would help save and distribute the same piece of content. Oh, what a wonderful world, much less broken links, much less lost media, it would be amazing.
Turns out I just invented IPFS, now I just need 10 years to try to develop this amazing idea into working software that doesn't consume 500GB of RAM 24/7 in everybody's computer forever and still can't download a single text file from a computer in the same LAN.
The biggest problem with IPFS for me is the bandwidth usage. I have this absurd 1.2 terabyte data cap that was imposed by Xfinity during the pandemic, and I know it's complete garbage because states in the Northeastern US told Xfinity to shut up and roll it back. California didn't, despite being such a "forward-thinking" and "advanced" state.
No, just Sunni. Assad is a tyrant and a nusayri pagan.
He's pro-Assad and a Russia shill, I don't care much about the latter but the former makes me dislike him either way
