Morning plebs and PV everyone.
Good evening to put up the Christmas tree. Pv everyone and have a great evening.

Most Canadians are probably fine for now, CRA is basically bothering all digital asset companies for users buying or trading over 20 thousand a year and going after those identities. They don't have the man power to go after everyone and are getting companies like sgakepay, coinsquare, wealth simple to do the heavy lifting as far ats identifying users of interest and then if you don't list on your current tax return crypto assets they flag you for a tax audit and the investigation begins. If you say you lost your BTC in a boating accident they make you pay full capital gains on it anyway or you can get off the hook if you can prove you still have it via wallet addresses and such that they use glass node to verify. Hence my leaving stuff on Coinbase to avoid tax implications and prove where the BTC is. They are systematically putting the squeeze on all exchanges and one by one they are bowing to the pressure to stay in business.
Revenue Canada is investigating my trading on HitBTC and had requested all addresses associated with my node. Canada is sure ramping up their enforcement plans.
With btc on and off ramp exchanges slowing disappearing what is the best P2P way of purchasing btc?
I was told to try Bisq are they any good and are they legit. Figured I would ask so as to not waste my time if others have had bad experiences with them.
In Canada shakepay is similar to fold and so far it works great and I have had no issues. The only thing to keep in mind is to keep the bitcoin you earn separate from your non kyc btc if that is an issue for you.
Yo #nostr I am looking for bicyoin podcasts for light listening.
I am fully addicted to bitcoin education but I find some bitcoiners to be...how do I put this...boring.
I never did well in school so I don't do well with charts and macro shit.
I'm not saying I can't digest these types of podcasts. I've listened to nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z from the beginning of my journey. nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy with TFTC and Rabbit hole recap is another great Podcaster with dense information.
The best for me overall when it comes to breakdowns and takeaways has to be Guy swan with Bitcoin audible.
But still I find myself devouring all this content and fiending for more.
What other well done #Bitcoin podcasts am I missing? Cmon #plebs don't let me down.

Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast is easy listening and super informative and entertaining.
Show her apps like bitrefill were you can buy gift cards and prepaid Visa cards to use at pretty much any store in any mall. Not that I advocate spending bitcoin but gives her the idea that it is real and not a scam.
My wife was the same but over time she started to get it and now is cool with it. She did the bitcoin in 21 day tutorial from bitcoin magazine which saved me a ton of time trying to explain shit.

Anyone tried running Start9 OS on the new Raspberry PI5 that was just released. Already run my Start9 node on a raspberry PI4 and was wondering if it is worth upgrading.
