I really enjoyed the Fortnite Zero Hour Chapter 6 season closing. I kept laughing with the number of franchises they kept throwing in. I captured without my voice in case anyone missed out.
Just a friendly reminder that the #youtube algorithm has no taste. My lowest effort, dumbest video, inside joke, youtube short resulted in 9.5k views and 26 hours of viewing of my pinky finger last month. Which is probably longer than I spent looking at it last month.
I'm learning that flavoured coffee needs sweetner for the flavour to actually work.
Tough day in #fediverse. OVH cloud is causing issues for some #mastodon and #pixelfed sites. There's a verify your email mastodon scam causing admins to watch for compromised spam accounts and apparently #matrix main server is in the middle of a multi hour database restore. Reminder stay spread out.
So far I've refused to get a threads account. But it has been nice to be able to interact with my friends that are there. Glad someone's keeping track of how well, (or not) threads is mingling with the rest of the Fediverse.

Newbie ponderings: I was a bit confused about how #Nostr relays worked. They were supposedly all their own silos. But even though #Primal only listed its own relay in the settings, my messages still made it to #Amethyst and #openvibe and vice versa.
A few days after joining Nostr, Amethyst added in and outboxes and suddenly all my apps showed all of the servers any of my apps have used in its settings. So now my in and out boxes each have 11 servers listed even though it recommends one to three. (Side question, why isn't more spread better than 1-3 servers?)

When I was a teenager we were told use nick names and don't give out real life info. 25 years later I'm still using Granite on the internet and basically anyone who knows me personally in both RL and digital domains would know I'm Granite. So while the nickname no longer keeps me anonymous, I do appreciate having a degree of separation from my personal life and professional life. I guess if my professional me needed a digital presence I would use my real name. But just like I don't give out my personal phone number to clients, I probably don't need them googling my personal presence online either.
