Same goes for apple intelligence, if all your personal information(bank websites visited, bitcoin wallets opened, passwords entered) is being logged, processed and kept, even if only on your device, it makes it as much easier for an attacker (if not the company themselves) to then just go ahead and steal that information instead of trying for days phish you or add malware.
be careful with the new AI updates. They might have some cool features, but you will he paying a huge hidden price for juat some shiny trinkets.
Sometimes you've got to let people be rug pulled...
Ummm..

yes I got them because the default continue config had the wrong model names I needed to fix them from inside vs code
didnt know we had a "true" version of T-shirt design π , but its the best one we could get in India
Or u can use https://unleashed.chat I wonder if they let us download their weights.
Contrary to popular belief LLMs don't learn everyday, they've hardly learnt anything since late 2021.
inference is cheap. fine tuning is not that expensive either. NVIDIA GPUs have a field day with local LLMs.
intelligence without the guts to face reality as it is , is wasted.
You can save a lot of bandwidth later on by not querying hosted LLMs π
What are you waiting for? π nostr:note1mamufyqcvvqf0l05ey54024k7crlzm84rgctzevale54g0mkamlqpvzd2t
to turn 45? π
then "ollama pull codestral"
then "ollama serve"
download continue
https://github.com/continuedev/continue
you might have to configure continue with the right model names - Ctrl + shift + p then search continue models you should see a configure option
use ollama list to see all downloaded models.
With freedom comes responsibility...
TO BE SILLLLLYYYYY π€ͺ
Continue VS Code extension working with self hosted Codestral is better than copilot in almost every way. Never mind the "not having to give your data away to microsoft".
Also spoiler alert: The code suggestion worked without any changes
#devstr #codestr #dev
You only lose when you give up.
I miss the times when nostr had so little content you could follow all of it in a morning scroll.
Now I have to learn to live with the FOMO of missing out on entire threads because I can't keep up π
ahh overlooked the drivers, make sense, I guess installing Linux on an external drive will be the way I go ahead with this.
can I do a full install on an external.hard disk without having to make persistent changes on the BIOS?
also can I make it plug and playable between supporting machines?
has anyone here tried using Linux as a daily driver from a live usb (with persistence enabled) ? is it a feasible alternative to dual booting? (wish to get rid of windows but can't because of games and vr stuff)
#asknostr
too many cats around here, time to channel favorite dog π
Nobody gives up freedom for security, they only pretend to do so.
also primal will attempt to render if you remove the tracking variables in the URL(everything after the ?)
this is because its attempting to render only if it sees the URL ending with a "video extension'" as in a ".mp4" in this case.
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/73hq4a7aockelcr89laad/ZOMBIECONOMY.mp4
you can upload anywhere and post it as a link and nostr clients will render it. nostr relays themselves only store text, content is stored on media servers which could be google drive or anything.
which client?
llm thatspecializes in coding by the same guys that brought mistral, early impressions are good but I haven't put it through enough tests yet. codellama is also good
multiple models for t2i and i2i depending on the usecase. Llama3 for playing around, and then some code specific models like codestral.
apple macs and low powered laptops are not PCs. Maybe I should replace PC with a "Good Graphic Card"
Everyone who can afford to have a PC, should have a PC. It's an absolute life changer, especially, self hosted AIs π€
only been a little more than a couple of days running graphene.
Early GrapheneOS thoughts.
it is the Linux of mobile OS, well, literally and as an experience.
It doesn't "just work" out of the box, but It does put you in control of your phone in a way that regular android doesn't.
Sandboxed Google Play Services is genius. So far, I'm loving what I seeing.
I don't think it's for everyone though, especially the convenience hungry, "apple types", but for tinkerers and privacy focussed enthusiasts. its awesome.
Good Morning π
