Authored NIP-88 (polls), Made formstr.app , pollerama.fun, NRPC and other cool nostr things. Owns the color purple.

Your data doesn't belong to any "client" it belongs to you, on nostr. A very small number of people have understood the implications of this. Welcome to the future, one with hope.

You don't need to post on multiple clients if you post from one your content is automatically available on all clients, that is the power of nostr

It was the season finale, we have to wait so long for the next season, could've given us a closure on a few things, I get the story not being over part, which is why I felt it was okay.

I would say so. The politics is really good, the dragon action is limited, but enjoyable, its just, slow... Everybody kind of knows what's going to happen at this point and we want them to get on with it 😅, maybe if you binge it, its not as big a deal.

I liked it, I would even recommend it. The finale was a bit off a let down though

The season finale for HoTD was okay, I mean of was good but the expectation was that I'd see the dragons burning shit up, especially after the last episode😂

I guess I'll have to wait another 2 years to see that happen.

I watched this video recently and it was hard to disagree with most of his points. He might be a 💩coiner but the critique of lightning seems valid.

I do not want the future of bitcoin to just be trusting custodians. Hopefully some smart people can come up with solutions. I dont know much about it but ark protocol perhaps?

I don't think the lightning network has failed. I just don't think it was ever meant to be what we're trying to force it to be. It's not a "sovereign payment mechanism". Maybe ecash IS the more sovereign mechanism, but I do think lightning even if only custodially, still has its place.

"Self-custodial" lightning is kind of oxymoron-ic.

At the end of the day you are offloading a ton of off-chain payments to one utxo. It's not meant to be self-custodial.

I think lightning is not working for a lot of people because they have very wrong expectations from it in the first place.

Maybe instead of "self-custody" what we should actually be looking at is "community-custody"?

You need liquidity, and its not going to scale if you're going to provide all the liquidity for your payments yourself.

Would love to hear thoughts on this. This is only my understanding and would love to be corrected.

https://pollerama.fun does zapless polls. I'm still on the fence on whether or not to add zaps to the poll event itself. My objectives is not to ignore bitcoin, but to not make it get in the way of regular stuff.

Bangladesh ousted Hasina.

It should shatter the confidence of every world leader around the world, who think that the masses can be ruled only with fear.

Indian government is killing independent digital media. Indian journalist need to learn nostr and bitcoin soon or be cucked into speaking government propaganda.

I do not disagree with you, its kind of the outlook we SHOULD have, Bitcoin is primarily a savings tool, and that is how it should be treated

I also do think it is a pessimistic outlook, given the fact that there are a very small number of bitcoiners out there still.

However bitcoin is meant to protect you from poverty, it may get you your lambo, but that shouldn't be the point.

If you want to help test out a slightly worse (UI wise) but more feature rich version of nostr:npub1qu7dsd44275lms4x9snnwvnnmgx926nsppmr7lcw9dlj36n4fltqgs7p98 I have added https://beta.formstr.app

CAUTION!!!!!

This points to the Dev branch so expect things to break, so don't use it for anything important!!

Feel free to give your feedback here or on this formstr form (if you want to do it anonymously)

Can someone give me a quick explainer on blossom? And the media nip on nostr?

The point isn't to not have algorithms, it is to have a choice in content discovery, and not having to forcefully engage with whatever is shoved down your throat.

You need to set your inbox relays, the nip17 messages are the incognito icon on the messages. If that is on it means the messages are private (as long as both parties don't have compromised keys of course). Amethyst does a backwards compatibility thing where it combines nip04 and nip17 messages with the same participants, which makes it a little confusing for someone wanting to start out, but I think its a good compromise since a lot of people simply don't care.

There's a lot of new stuff I've already built that I want to push out soon, I just want to make sure its up to the standard I've already set for myself, because Formstr "just works" right now and I don't want to break it 😅

Is there a way to see all my draft comments on amethyst?

In Sanskrit theres a saying: "Tatha Astu" roughly translates to: "let this happen" usually said at the end of blessimgs/prayers kind of like "amen".

100k sat zap? Tatha Astu
