I haven’t been to McDonald’s in a while and I was craving a steak, egg and cheese bagel, hashbrowns, and an Iced Coffee…

I used my McDonald’s App & got the Iced Coffee for free (using points).

I then made a second order by using the “Deals” part of the App & got the breakfast sandwich for $2 & the Hash Browns were $3 and something cents (regular price).

That meal would normally cost $11-$12.

I took the savings that I would’ve spent anyways, & deposited it into my strike account and then I smashed bought some Satoshi’s.

This may not seem like a big deal, but it’s the little things that count.

A lot of little things add up to big things in the future.

I do the best I can to enjoy life today, while saving at the same time.

Tomorrow isn’t promised.

I'm at a huge music festival in Kyiv, and they just auctioned off the back fin of a downed Russian shahed drone to a military charity. Winning bid was the equivalent of $1700 USD. Probably enough money for the military unit to kill something like 0.1 more Russians. 😂

There's charity auctions for every single act. I wouldn't be surprised if this one event leads to the deaths of a dozen Russians from that alone.

The event is held at a mall because they need a space big enough to serve as an air raid shelter. In this case their underground parking lot:

...and or course, in the parking lot a dozen different military units have booths for both donations and recruiting. Hard to say. But if another thousand Russians are killed from that effort I wouldn't be surprised.

Not bad for an event with a turnout of something like 5000 people.

The noise of this cycle is going to be stablecoin fervor, real world asset tokenization and a resurgence of "blockchaining all of the things" (especially AI).

The signal will be bitcoin maturing as a preferred collateral asset in private credit markets, the continued maturation of the lightning network and other second layers that facilitate payments, bitcoin mining becoming even more integrated with our energy systems and passive DCAs from companies both private and public that convert a portion of their cash flows to bitcoin.

There will be a ton of pundits and TradFi suits speaking with the utmost confidence about things they really don't understand from first principles and they will bamboozle many.

Keep it simple, stupid.

Fiat money is broken. Bitcoin fixes it. Stablecoins are tied to fiat currencies that are being continuously debased. Blockchains only make sense for distributed peer-to-peer cash.

Platitudes like that don't help.

War is not insanity. Russians from rich to poor have the potential to benefit tremendously from their invasion. They get to steal land and resources, expand their empire, and in the process, the soldiers get paid very good wages.

If it weren't for Ukraine's heroic efforts resisting them, Russia's invasion would have been extremely profitable.

War is not "insane". It's good business. That's why we need to exterminate the aggressors who started this violence to change that cost benefit analysis and make it unprofitable.

Iran chants death to America, led by the Ayatollah, routinely. This is hardwired by a religious doctrine that is centuries old. Iran have attacked Americans 93 times in the last few years with hardly and response (Lloyd Austin at a Congressional hearing a couple years ago). The US has the arguably the greatest intelligence in history to determine degree of uranium enrichment. Trump decides to drop bombs on their nuclear facilities and chooses to not to topple a regime change in Iran, showing restraint. And somehow everybody on social media thinks their intelligence is better and Trump should have done nothing, calling him Bush 2.0. This is how you know you enjoy the comfort of good times and those good times make weak men.

And I’d vote for him all over again. He’s done more for us than any president in recent history.
