I imagine that as compelling tools are built, younger users will use them. They already use so many different apps for various activities that it will be second nature navigating their way around the ecosystem & they'll likely appreciate the cohesiveness. Password management across their 15 daily apps is the bane of their existence. ๐
Right... that would be on relay operators to choose the appropriate frequency without chasing off their users ๐ ...on first connect, then once/month or so (suggestion for any operators out there๐)

I'm not too concerned with ui complexity, worst case scenerio is I learn some stuff I eventually need to learn anyway. Functionality is much more important. Counting on lsp was the root cause of non-custodial payment failures for me yesterday & while they may be a step in the right direction or a good backup plan, they just aren't reliable enough to utilize for casual transactions yet. So, regardless of which wallet, opening some private channels sounds like the way to go. Is it possible to attempt payments through lsp & fall back private channels before expiry? Or I guess, does an invoice even allow for multiple route attempts?

They aren't. But I will keep trying, falling back on custodial solutions to do what I can only do with btc & fiat for the rest. I got a node set up a little over year ago without really thinking about the management required. My life is chaos, so it's been very neglected since. Part of my agenda over the next few months is to carve out a schedule for it & learn how to manage efficiently. In the meantime, I'll deal with the "middle ground" failures to keep that segment moving forward, because I think ultimately that's going to be the most critical part of broader adoption.
