It does get better, but takes time. And also tbf to Unchained, when they created their product there was was no standard on multisig, and now that there is, they probably don’t want to rock the boat and risk changes to their system which has accumulated over the years.
nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 was right. Multisig is god damn mess.
So I can’t restore a multisig wallet from Unchained on mobile via Nunchuk or Bitcoin Keeper.
We need better standards across the board for multisig. This is ridiculous. Unless I’m missing something ?

The entire ecosystem has moved towards BIP48 standard (m/48h/0h/0h/2h) for multisig except a few players, including Unchained. Unchained was built on a legacy system and hasn’t upgraded it in years.
The second part of that sentence is also wrong. We no longer use m/48h/0h/0h anywhere in our system—been that way for several years.
That being said, you can import non-standard multisig wallets like Unchained into Nunchuk or Sparrow, if you know what you’re doing. I believe they support the Coldcard multisig wallet config format. In that case you should export it as such.
Bottom line is: multisig has been very well standardized by this point. Only a few projects still lag behind.
Currently Biometric login requires an account. It won’t work for Guest mode.
You’re welcome!
Right. The upside is it’s a lot less complex than FROST.
While FROST’s ability to refresh key shares is very powerful, it comes with a can of worms / opens up new attack vectors.
Yup!
🙌🏻🤓 Let us know what you think after trying it out!
It’s for our new feature Taproot-based multisig wallets. You can read more about it in our announcement here: https://primal.net/e/note1lw30vds9um9j3p6qp8fmds67ay9tmu2r0qkta3v3zfas5ljadgvswnm06e
We spent quite some time designing an entirely new UX for Taproot multisig—a two-round signing approach that hasn't existed before.
What do you think?
We do have support for dark mode now.
Eventually! Hardware support is experimental, but coming.
🎁 Our Christmas gift to you: Taproot multisig wallets are now live on Nunchuk!

Did you DM us? I don’t see any messages.
The former! Very few hardware support at the moment. Ledger, maybe Coinkite (we haven’t tested with hardware yet).
