I would have many questions, the main one being how a croc made it's way into the centre of Australia.
They got paid regardless

STOP! KOALAS ARE INFESTED WITH STDS! IT'S DANGEROUS!
Since Job has been mentioned in the thread, itâd be remiss of me to not shill nostr:npub1tm55f0cag3zvrg3rpf4nvduu7g5f0kawnav9wvjykd65uj3ylhfswpzt6m and his current Job study: https://soundcloud.com/verylutheran/sets/enduring-job
If by âgoodâ you mean âsatisfyingâ I donât think youâll ever find a good answer. Hereâs my approach from an expressly Christian viewpoint:
Iâd argue that God is both willing and able to prevent evil and He is also capable of permitting evil to occur. To deny this is to deny Godâs sovereignty, after all, God Himself says that He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy(Romans 9:15 and Exodus 33:19 ESV). Now, God permitting evil does not mean that God is evil, that God is the source of evil, or that God does evil. If God did not permit evil then inevitably He would undo His own work in giving humans free will because if God does not permit evil then humans cannot choose to do evil.
Now, if God is not the source of evil where does it come from? When a Christian asks âwhere does evil come from?â the answer is their own face reflected in a mirror. This is because we believe that original sin has perverted our nature and caused us to be inclined towards evil. Could God have prevented the Serpent from tempting Eve? Yes, He could have, but Eve could have said no just as Adam could have stopped his wife. Could God have made an Adam and Eve who were unable to disobey Him and thus unable to sin? He could have but that would have been an Adam and Eve without free will, because free will is only free if you can choose the wrong thing. I think sometimes we try and make God responsible for all the bad things in our lives when we wrestle with the problem of evil, rather than accepting the part we played by making the decisions we did.
Having said all of this, the Christian should remember to approach this issue from the resurrection. This world along with all the sin and evil in it will be replaced by the new Heaven and the new Earth where everything will be perfect. Until then we will continue to experience pain and suffering as a result of our actions, the actions of others, the polluting effect of sin, and even as a result of God refining His saints so that they can be made perfect.
This scares the Dan

Yeah man it's great.
>"I want you to throw the ball"
>"But I'm not going to hand it over"
Yup, the world has its own gods and its own gospel.
I'm just laughing (sometimes nervously) at this so-called secular society embracing pagan rituals in the guise of this recognising traditional owners bullshit.
Can't wait for the churches to follow suit and include the same stuff before service.
>"why aren't you doing what I want?"
>"you must be confused"

I too enjoy (some) death metal bands and their totally death metal music:

I'm still sick so couldn't go to service this morning, but I hope you can make it beloved.
It's Sunday, go to church.
