Hilarious that Vinny’s idea is for the government to spin up a mining pool to build the bitcoin reserve considering mining pools are notoriously terrible businesses with razor-thin margins.

The path of least resistance is to print and buy bitcoin. There are a number of things that aren’t an overt speculative attack they could do before they resort to that though; bitcoin backed treasuries where the buyer participates in upside bitcoin appreciation, converting revenues from federal services into bitcoin, and a litany of straight forward low hanging fruit.

Taxing bitcoin purchases and sales is egregious theft and a state run mining pool would be poetic because it’s what you would expect from a government known to waste resources while producing sub-par services.

We all have been there. And #Bitcoin FOMO never ends.

It's funny to watch TradFi get so butthurt about @saylor issuing debt to buy #Bitcoin with it rising faster than the cost of the debt... when that's literally what TradFi has been doing with real estate & stocks for like 30 years.

Real estate and corporate debt get artificially low interest rates, below the real inflation, to soak up all housing and buyback their stock that pump the value and ride it up forever while the debt gets devalued.

Looks like the same play to me, just without the overhead and rent seekers.

It’s wild how $300 in your bank and a $100k car makes you look rich, but owning 1 #Bitcoin worth $100k and driving a $5k Corolla makes you look broke. Society is designed to keep you poor — break the program, find your own path.
