On a larger scale I believe they wanted a group of people that had it ingrained into their core that a man could be their GOD. This mentality is critical for ultimate control. Some countries shoot invaders. Every nation has a responsibility to the people to protect them and the interests of the nation. Many time when I explain to people what is going on I have to explain to them in a historical context. To understand where you are going you first need to understand where you have been. Many people have become free from most of the illusion in the last 10 years. They still need to understand the why's and how's.
