There's plenty of alternatives to Amethyst. Nostros is excellent. Plasma seems to be moving along somewhat slowly but has the potential to be a great choice as well. Amethyst is no doubt very popular but can be very laggy and unusable on some devices.

You copy the json file from GetAlby or Wallet of Satoshi and place it in the /.well-known/lnurlp/ directory on your server. The file name will determine the address.
So if you named the file "KB" and placed in /.well-known/lnurlp/ on your server, your alias address would become "KB@your.domain"
You can then use that address on nostr and anywhere else and all payments and zaps will be directed to your current WoS address.
Neat little way to use your domain for a Lightning address without needing to run a node yourself.
You can create more than one alias as well and they all will redirect to the address corresponding with the json data you used.
Do you have your own domain name?
If so you can create an alias address that redirects to your GetAbly, Wallet of Satoshi, etc wallet.
For example with my personal account I've got "jawsh@jawsh.xyz" set as my LN address and that redirects all zaps and Lightning payments to my Alby wallet address at "jawsh@getalby.com"
It's a similar process to using your own domain for NIP-05

Aside groin using another account, no. Why not use the one you currently have?
I'm pretty sure all I did was join the Telegram channel and it automatically generated a wallet for me. Then in Fountain hit the wallet tab, withdraw, copy invoice and past into Telegram to withdraw. After that I just generate an invoice via Alby for the amount I want to send from ln.tips (-1%) and paste that invoice into Telegram to pay it. Super annoying but works. I'm not sure what causes the issue when trying to withdraw to my Alby wallet directly.
