unfortunately, you can’t force people into that, and there’s nothing said in the bitcoin white paper that says that’s the rule of bitcoin. may i ask, how following these rules are the only way bitcoin can work in the long term?

not at all, they are on nostr, and i have invited them, i’m saying it’s hard for me to tell them about nostr due to the abundance of trolls vs the amount of women on here as of now. not everyone will have the love of the protocol to see beyond the trolls and stay.
lastly, the women on nostr right now, are incredibly powerful, strong, and beautiful. the inspiration they have given me to better myself everyday has been unmatched.

it’s true, which is why i’ve said it’s been a lot better, but it’s been hard to tell my friends to ignore the troll comments and see beyond that. they just don’t use it after the first day, and idk how to combat that issue.
it’s not in the sense that they are being treated differently by plebs, but more so that trolls will come after the women rather than the men. it’s a complicated subject matter, i never really give a fuck about the trolls, but i don’t want to forget about people that will be let down and not want to use nostr after dealing with it.
it’s hard to have to tell my girl friends who are on nostr, that they will get some lame ass troll comments, but to see beyond that. they’re not bitcoiners either, so why would they want to stay?
100%, we can’t neglect the fact that men on are more unlikely to get comments like this though.
it’s not people i follow <3 a majority of everyone i’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind. i’m talking about a few outliers, and obvious trolls that prevent me from wanting to purple pill my friends.

I don’t use mute in a strong way though. It’s more of a casual thing for me - mute often and unmute too.
Sometimes mute is just an easy way to clear your feed of notes you don’t care to see but it doesn’t mean you don’t like that person.
I’ve always been a proponent of having an option to mute for x time so I don’t have to unmute manually.
