As bitcoin soars (Pluto in Aquarius is showing Bitcoin its long needed love), I’m often reminded of when I learned about bitcoin on nostr.

Bitcoin had tanked, everyone seemed to be in low spirits about it everywhere else. Unknowing of bitcoins past, I thought 25k was A LOT. Then, zaps were born, and we were zapping ppl insane amounts of generational wealth, just for the love of the game.

Nostr is the ONLY place where that can happen so organically. Thx to the devs who implemented zaps, for making it easy to spread the wealth to fellow nostriches.

Zapping may be seen as an addiction, but I don’t mind it. I love to zap my wallet empty, it brings a feeling of community that is sadly lacking in the modern world.
