No I don’t really care. I have a primal lightning wallet set up, to do that I had to put in my email etc.. if I cared I wouldn’t have. Just wanted to know, since it’s ironic that people go around saying how Nostr is so free-speech oriented and privacy-respecting, and sure whilst better than its peers, it’s still got these “points of failure”.

so this is all meant to be privacy respecting, etc.., but how do you get sats other than buying it with a debit/credit card? (ignoring being zapped.)
if someone was so inclined to get your personal data (a Gov for example) cant they just contact large suppliers and find where your card was used?
(I don’t care about this stuff, just a Q as I’m exploring nostr atm)

how can a paid #relay on #nostr make clients faster? I don't really understand 😅
also I can't really join any since i can't buy sats lol
there's much more to be done; simplification of onboarding, use, easier switching between clients with or without lightning wallets (users need to know this isn't necessary!), and imo most importantly, to grow the community so there's more than just bitcoiners here.
but already we have a great base, a real-time information source with feeds you can pick between and switch around.

this is free advertising for protocols like atproto/nostr/activitypub where the APIs are locked open. it's wild to think that Instagram really think they're actually using ActivityPub on Threads. their integration is so crap (on purpose) to try and keep people locked into Threads.
