The hodl meme can be true but also leaves you holding the bag for everyone else who takes profits. There is no shame in selling if you need to. There is no moral issue in selling to improve your life. There is no one you even need to tell if you sell.

Be realistic about how much you can invest. Be honest if you have enough cash flow to make it through a multi year bear market where your money is underwater. The last thing you need to do is put yourself into a position where you are forced to sell at a loss. You might as well sell for profit at that point.

The population is broke as fuck. People will take gains or initial investments off the table. I know 85k, 100k, 125k are all psychological price points that you have to expect people pull out at.

This isn't about glory, fame or catching the top. Do what is right for you and your family. Being able to have dry powder to buy the future blood and increase the stack is my objective.
