I’ve just had an interesting conversation with nostr:npub14yf4yasnqgpkzjrzhysshglf82e8nkp8r9sn5hzqu4n244k3avtshhwpyu saying everybody is welcome on #nostr and we don’t treat influencers or celebrities any different.
But a question.
Is everybody welcome here?
It is an open protocol, so everybody is free to engage, but do we want to replicate the toxicity of X or the vacuousness of Instagram?
Is this is different place not intended for everybody or is a new self sovereign content protocol that is intended for all?
Opinions please….
Currently, I think, nostr is to complicated for those toxic X members. And because of the relay mechanics, the keys, and the missing Algo for addiction, I think they won't join.
But nothing stops Elon from driving a monster relay for all X members 😀

This #nostr protocoll is fantastic. In three days I got onboarded to #amethyst at Android and to #gossip at fedora #linux. I have set-up my own relay server in a docker container with a certbot ssl certificate and an #apache websocket proxy. I've also received some zapps from nice people into a wallet of satoshi.
What I'am going to do next this weekend is (a) connect an lnbits url to my lnd lightning node, and (b) create a browser app with a nice little game, and (c) create some bots to send around events from my home assistant home automation system.

That btcpay on umbrel didn't work for me (two years ago) - have a lnd on raspberry now and create my invoices by rest calls.
