By far the best UX of any hardware wallet I’ve used. This is an easy recommend to friends and family just getting into self custody. Nice work nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m and Block team.
I’d like to see higher daily spend limits though. Maybe nostr key support? 😅

Glad I never I got an invite. Sounds terrible. Pronouns in bio is a 🚩.

Not as much progress today as I would’ve liked on Seer, but it’s coming along. Hoping to have something to test by end of next week. 💪
Yes please.
had originally forked NostrKit a while back, but there was some thing about it I didn’t like. One being that it relied on an older version of secp256k1.swift. I ended up to deciding to start from scratch. I wanted to build a lightweight/low level core sdk that only handled the key stuff, nostr basic types, encoding/decoding, etc. That way, people could build higher level sdks on top of it. I also wanted to make sure it ran on as many platforms as possible. Right now the core library should work on all apple platforms + linux + windows. I started already building a higher level client sdk that handles the socket layer, subscriptions, etc which is what Im using for Seer. The idea for Seer is to start with macOS since I can distribute that without going through the App Store. This will speed up development. Then I’ll move on to iOS, iPadOS. Eventually if things are going well Id like to use something like Swift Adwaita and build a linux GTK4 application. Windows is another story in terms of swift. As far as I understand it there aren’t any viable swift socket libraries that work on windows. I’ll have to investigate that later. Anyways, sorry for the long response. I will dive into nostr-sdk-ios. Maybe there’s no need for what I’ve built. Lol. I just like building things myself so I understand how they work. Thanks for sharing. Also, if you need contributors Id be glad to help knock out some features on the todo list :)
GM. More Nip29 development today. First I’m building a swift macOS client. If you’re interested in trying it soon. Follow me here. 🙏
Maybe I’m connected to the wrong relays or maybe what I post isn’t interesting, but it feels like I’m posting int a black hole. 😅
I’ve created a Nostr Swift library that you can find below. It’s the basis of my current endeavor Seer.
Not sure! This is my first visit. 😀
Heading out to El Zonte in the morning with the family! Super excited to see what it’s like in person! 🙏
This is one of the potential routes for my Swift client Seer. I’ve always wanted something super lightweight. It’s either gonna be this or nip29 client. I’ll decide after turkey day.
What type of focused client do you think is missing? Just curious as I’m trying to figure out what to make what to focus on with my in Seer client. It’s started out as a NIP04 messenger, but there to much contention around nip04. Currently working on making it a NIP29 focused client.
I’m focusing on Apple platforms first as Swift programming is my strength with the goal making it very user friendly.
Noticed this too. Never thought I’d be annoyed getting free sats. lol
NIP-29
Ah. Latest on AppStore. I’ll hop back over to TestFlight 😀
What phone do you have? I think nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac mentioned something similar but I have yet to reproduce
Damus locks up on me when I go to notifications, then to someone’s profile, then back. At that point I have to swap it out of memory to restart. On iPhone 15 pro. Latest iOS version.
Is there a NIP for creating polls on nostr?
Honestly have used either one of those. The last iteration I was working on was a nip04 client but the ui was inspired by apple mail. So you could have multiple accounts active at the same time. There’s a bit of fud around nip04. I think its works well as a simple encrypted chat. That said I’m still toying with the idea of making Seer a simple general nostr client. As light weight as possible.
Thinking about going all in and restarting Seer development. What’s do you think?
