Alright, good news!
I found out I had several people muted/blocked on my multiple noatr clients. I don't remember muting anyone so it's probably automatic.
If you guy stop seeing someone's frequent posts, check your settings.
Also, to unmute/unblock someone it may not be possible to do from some clients, so go around the ones you had and check the settings. Most likely it's a cached setting on an obscure relay.
Lastly - I GOT THE FUCKING SONG from Odell's podcast. It's just 30 seconds but whoever did it is a musical genius. Here is the link to the fiat web https://restream.io/music-licensing. The song is called "RSTRM falls"

Take Two
nostr:npub1cewskadgfwluq34eemwqeuyc5zqkhqadysqyaj9mjv2t4gtcwkxqvxcg7j I am confused as well. hence the thought. I will take another crack at this.
Assuming we plebs can afford more "storage" and "processing speed" in the not too distant future, then maybe we can increase block sizes and stay "sufficiently" decentralized. Mining equipment is "keeping pace" with technological innovation and making ASICs more efficient as time goes on. More hashes per unit energy spent, that is,
But node runners are subject to limitations (i.e., basic home computing capability) when it comes to block sizes and network speed. That is the feature, the killer app, the secret sauce to Bitcoin's success. I know not to mess with that.
I wasn't there for the Block Size wars (I joined team BTC in 2019) but my question is: could we also take advantage of technological advancements, like the miners, when it comes to block size or network cadence? I assume these fall in the umbrella of node runners, not miners.
I just have to ask the question because I foresee this being an issue as more and more people want ownership on the base chain, not just layer 2 solutions. That IS self custody.
Ultimately, it is about learning why Bitcoin is architected the way it is. The delicate balance keeping Bitcoin alive :)
Finally, I will say this in my defense. I am a card-carrying Ossification-ist. I probably would have voted against taproot and segwit. Still, it is good to discuss these issues to better understand Bitcoin. It is not religion. It is understanding. That's all. nostr:note1jcn5se2g5ex4ntdwndzrln0s387wrd5ezyxucq5qewy5zz63uckqt482l9
Mmmm interesting.
I would have to go back and read some of the arguments back then. I guess things do change but I would need to refresh myself of every thing we discussed back at the block wars. But it's a good point to bring it back every other time.
There were/are a few good teachers out there indeed.
I would just like to remind everyone of this.
I haven't heard from Antonopoulos for sometime now. I'm sure he is doing fine. But one day I would like to thank him for what he did for me.
Yes and it will happen everywhere, at any point in time and for any reason.
It's important that it does. It's important they come after all of of our tools because then we will quickly know what works and what doesn't.
The sooner the better.

Don't trust Bob. Verify.
I don't follow.
If CPUs cheaper = Let's allow larger blocks? Increase difficulty? How is consensus a thing dependant on work?
Also, how do we know the threshold at which you are excluding population? When it's more than the national salary of Zimbabwe or north Korea? Or do these don't matter.
Legitimately confused. Please elaborate.
If a man sends a note in nostr, but no relay gets it, did the event even happen?
nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx I guess I owe you an apology, man. I thought you muted me somehow for repeatedly asking for the title song of your podcast, but it seems it's relay shit.
The not so funny thing is that I can only see your response on snort, not on any other client. I can't even see most of the replies from others.... It's really confusing whatever is going on.
Hey nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, love your show.
Fortunately you can't ban me from listening to it.
But seems like you blocked me so you can go fuck yourself.
I just want to say - setting up a relay should be much much easier, and its not.
Let's use "the escape"
Oh and when you do move out into privacy, please write a note explaining to the others how you did it.
Made a big change to my blossom-server implementation https://github.com/hzrd149/blossom-server/commit/83fbba5fa4080de587209ef7ea45182bfa39e502
Switched it from using JSON files to sqlite to store the blob metadata. also reworked how the rules worked so blob will only expire if they are never accessed
If you where running it some how (despite it having no docs) then your going to have to update your config.yml file with the new options
Ill write docs for it at some point when its "stable"
SQLite may have some concurrency issues. You can't use it if multiple users need to read/write at the same time. But the JSON files can.
So, the http is just a protocol right? which means that ws:// is another. If I'm not mistaken, webrtc is also a different protocol. Nostr itself is a protocol over ws (web sockets).
To send and receive binary over the wire all you need is to define the layer (for example TCP or UDP) and then select a protocol or make your own.
Linux, grapheneOS, you know, the usual stuff - don't trust, verify.
Move email to own servers. Encryption on messages.
In which case, should you mix your coins now I may presume you incurred in terrorism, trafficking, money-laundering at any point in the future.
I mean, the solution can't be "don't mix your coins", but it also can't be "be as noisy about it as possible".
The trick is to resist the injustice, while finding ways to stay alive.
