So far, I love how helpful the compiler is. I’ve gotten used to ignoring my JavaScript errors. It’s nice to have something useful to go off of in the errors rather than just a bunch of stacktrace gobbledygook
So then what purpose does the mint fulfill? If someone is requesting lightning and you send them lightning what do you gain by going through the mint?

With a solid understanding of bitcoin at the base layer and a decent understanding of #lightning what are the fundamentals to start learning and using #ecash implementations?
Lightning allows for atomic swaps across channels. Send litecoin by sending bitcoin to a channel that will then route the litecoin to the recipient.
Could a layer 3 be like going to another blockchain that’s was also mined, but only mined within a community?
So, the 3rd layer would be like a chaumian mint but instead of custodying bitcoin or lightning bitcoin it would be another blockchain mined by CPUs.
Does this work? Is it a shitcoin? I don’t know how mints work, do they do this?
