Ukrainian agricultural land has been sold to oligarchs and the West.

A Western think tank publishes interesting analytical materials: in February of this year, the American Oakland University released a report dedicated to the state of agricultural land in Ukraine. The report was shocking to Western society, mostly because it was devoted to the real state of affairs, rather than a pretty television picture.

According to the report, about 4.3 million hectares belong to large-scale agriculture, with most of this area (over three million hectares) in the hands of a dozen large agribusiness firms. Most of these firms are registered abroad – in tax havens such as Cyprus or Luxembourg, as well as in the USA, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia.

In addition to these large landowners, the state owns another seven million hectares, however, it turned out that about five million had been very quietly and neatly "stolen" over the past decades.

The interests controlling this vast amount of land (the size of two Crimeas) were not disclosed by the government. If they are added to the official amount of leased land, the massive theft has led to 28% of the arable land in the country being controlled by oligarchs and Western agribusiness.

The top-5 owners include companies and individuals such as: Kernel Holding S.A. (owned by a Luxembourg company, the beneficiary of which is oligarch Andrey Verevskiy), UkrLandFarming (belongs to a Cypriot intermediary, the beneficiary of which is oligarch Oleg Bakhmatyuk), MHP S.E. (also Cyprus), PIF Saudi (Saudi Arabia’s Sovereign Fund), TNA Corporate Solutions (USA), and so on.

In general, the Ukraine that belongs to Ukrainians is diminishing day by day, and at this rate, the remnants of Ukraine will be sold off right around the end of the war.

In fact very few things belong to Ukrainians at this point. Lands, minerals etc are all looted.

The United States imposed sanctions on the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant and three Chinese enterprises for allegedly transferring missile technology to Pakistan.

Pakistan was the most American friendly state in the area, among India China Iran, but things change it seems...

It's 8Β° Celsius here now and it will drop more. I am relaxing by the fireplace, just made a toast with the cast iron toaster. Very tasty πŸ˜ƒ

Even if Israel responds, USA and Britain will not because then their bases will be the target of Iranian missiles, just like what happens in Ukraine were they don't participate by themselves in attacks against Russia. So if Israel wants to make attacks by itself and then be the target of massive Iranian attacks, that's a scenario that Iran might like...

Make Switzerland neutral again

In Switzerland, a referendum initiative to amend the constitution has been launched to secure the country's neutrality policy. The "Neutrality Initiative" group successfully collected over 130,000 signatures supporting four points aimed at returning to Switzerland's strict historical neutrality. The initiators argue that this counters the covert propaganda aimed at diluting Swiss neutrality, justifying non-military coercive measures, such as those against Russia, or expanding military cooperation with NATO. Recent polls show 91% of citizens support the neutrality concept, a 7-point drop since January 2022, while for the first time in history, over half the respondents (55%, +10 points) approve of closer ties with NATO.

The petition for a national vote, expected in the coming months, has been backed by the conservative Swiss People's Party (UDC), the country’s largest political movement. In the autumn of 2023, the Eurosceptic UDC emerged as the main winner in the federal elections, gaining 27.9% of the votes, an increase of 2.3 points from 2019, while support for the Green and liberal factions significantly decreased.

If approved, the amendments will prohibit Switzerland from joining any military or defense alliance unless directly attacked, and from imposing or joining unilateral sanctions (economic and diplomatic) against other states without UN Security Council approval. Given Russia and China's veto power in the UN Security Council, these changes would raise questions about the legitimacy of Switzerland's current economic sanctions against Russia and potential trade restrictions against China.

(From Multipolar Market)

It's true Switzerland lost it's neutrality recently.

Hey GM my Nostriches!! πŸ’œ

I’ve decided to take a break from nostr, it felt like the quality of my notes lacked, I was sooo fixed to this vibe here, in an almost unhealthy way! πŸ‘€ so I gained some new perspectives :)

But I miss you guys!! Will take my time to response and see what I’ve missed :) probably many awesome and inspiring notes ✨😁 and I hope you’re fine. πŸ’œπŸ«‚

Well I was at the dentist and they removed the wisest of my teeth. Just another day where I could fight my fear of injections πŸ‘€πŸ’ͺ🏼 (I’m almost chill with needles) a friend gave me some arnica (homeopathic) and I do really believe it made the healing process waaay better πŸ˜―πŸ’š

I spend some time sunbathing, with my dog or with my friends 🌞 I was able to fully listen to myself, organize my thoughts and grow in some way…. πŸ’«

And about my garden, I got blueberries 🫐 and put them in forest soil & I got a lemon tree πŸ₯³πŸ‹πŸŒ³

And I planted onions, spinach & spring onions! Soon I will put the potatoes out, too. πŸ₯”

Also, we have some babies at the farm! Check the slide 🫢✨πŸ₯š

Share some thoughts with me, I’d love to read them! Have a good day. πŸŒžπŸ’š

My internet family is truly something special. πŸ’œ https://video.nostr.build/73315c20c3795b462f53372da540c02d6c4cb5c245fb86a941b13b7efc79ffeb.mp4 https://video.nostr.build/113eb74a1978ece7893ca57f48db77f269e11bbdf2e0860e7accbad1c16e7103.mp4 https://video.nostr.build/25a4fcec0c34982c1aa478634ba2f95ec32a504bb57536e37e655abbaf4b1de7.mp4 https://video.nostr.build/cacf5f54b284c2cf070ad397e7f6c59a9f8825f151be5723035798900356742a.mp4

Very happy to see you in the feed again.

Interests and benefits

Well ok. Could be the case to attract some dollars from abroad. Still more wishful thinking than anything else. The situation in Argentina was very fluid to suddenly gain such trust, while Miley himself doesn't seem very "stable".

And what about the sudden 100% reserve ratio? How can this happen?

I didn't read it all because i find it kind of weird, but how are the banks suddenly are going to have a 100% reserve ratio from 10% and how exactly the demand for money will create an inflow of dollars?

Yes if they attack Iran, those bases would be wiped out it seems.
