Yeah, I think the only reason I like it here so much is precisely because most people haven't heard of it and aren't here. Once they come, it won't be as fun to be here. It's a real catch-22.

Yeah, the ones I'm talking about all kind of look like the same person, and they don't look like any person I've seen in real life. I think bots in general are just creepy. Even the supposed good ones. I bet that cyborg one will respond to me here for saying that. And then the sexy bot will repost it.

So many of the photos look like the same exact person, so it's kind of easy to spot the fake ones, I suppose.
I just like to follow back when real people follow me, but lately I get these bursts of fake follows. It's easy to ignore the whole burst, but there could be real people mixed in. There are definitely better things to worry about, though, I suppose.
And this will sound really racist, but I would probably never follow a real person who happens to be a young, attractive Asian woman. Why? Because so many bot accounts use photos like that as their profile pictures, I'd look at any accounts like that with greater suspicion.
Why would people create tons of fake accounts with no content? I mean, I get if they're trying to use scripts to write content and spam the zap feature, but with no content, what's the point? It's actually extremely annoying, the more I think about. I have to go through like 40 accounts at a time to see if any of them are real, and I don't really want to waste my time doing that. But I do want to follow back people who follow me. Real ones, that is.
I'm finding it more difficult to keep track of my real followers. I am getting a lot of notifications of new followers, and 99.9% of them seem like fake accounts. Or at least they're accounts with no posts. And considering I get the follows in large batches, it seems like they're fake people. But anyway, if you're seeing this and I'm not following you, feel free to say hello. I might be missing some people.
It’s funny you say that bc while we were hiking, it said it looked like walking through a painting. It really did look about a thousand times better IRL.

Stella T. Dog and I went for a nature hike today. My brother and his wife are backpacking for just one night and he asked if I could shuttle them after they parked their car, then we hiked together for a while before Stella and I turned back. It was beautiful out there today!

I easily get in over 20k daily steps (idk how many that is in metric… kidding) with my current job. When I switch to my new job, I’ll be sitting a lot more. I’ll have to make more of an effort to be active.
