Ok, by request from some of my "padawans" I wrote a new guide about using #Cashu #ecash, explaining with use case scenario, of a small merchant (as uncle Jim) that want his customers to use #Bitcoin and #Lightning.

Easiest is to setup a mint in 5 clicks on LNbits to start play with it. You can use the demo server https://legend.lnbits.com
They are not really connected, you could even have a lightning node with less funds than there is ecash. I believe nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg is working on a proof of reserve mechanism so that users of the mint can verify if a mint is backed.
when you run a mint you can easily swap the lightning node, at least if you run a LNbits instance with the Cashu extension
