Today we contemplated a lot about communication. It was frustrating at times, and then moments of breakthrough happened. I'm enjoying this work... And looking forward to tomorrow's sessions π
Photo: Miss 2 was just fine without me all day. I missed her heaps though π₯°πππ
Yes! We meet such good people and today we worked on our communication. It was great π

Today and tomorrow I'm at a leadership conference. I hope I can spread a bit of purple and orange with these peeps ππ§‘π€
Wish me luck π
Oh my husband and I totally agree. The most successful friends we have these days quit school very young! They were considered dumb by school standards but now own successful businesses and make more money than most of the people who followed the traditional path π
Maybe. I have spent a lot of time in collectivist cultures and I greatly prefer that. I am more of a collaborator rather than a competitor. I don't really understand why we need competition to make things happen (we can work together as a team). Nostr is a great example of this where different developers are working together to make this protocol amazing. I don't feel like I personally need competition to learn and improve. Maybe it's nice to look out at the world and see areas I can do better, but to me, that is simply a worldview π€·ββοΈ
My thought is that competition is a very Western way of thinking a lot of the time. It's often a good means of directing attention to things that maybe don't matter as much as we are indoctrinated to believe? I am always open to being wrong and there can sometimes be more than one way to achieve things tok ππ
Yes, I don't see much good from schools. Really they are just stealing quality time from parents. π€¦ββοΈ
GM from rainy Red Beach in New Zealand π§οΈ
It's cold and wet. I have a last minute shopping trip to pick up a few small things before we fly. π€¦ββοΈ
Enjoy your day wherever you are π―
We're so lucky to live in times where we have choices to educate our children π

Did you know, in New Zealand, you need to register with your local doctor to be able to book doctor appointments. π€¦ββοΈ
There are walk in clinics which cost money (probably majority of people can't really afford this as a regular option).
My sisters told me to register while I was here so I could get free appointments for my kids. The other day I received a phone call where the person told me they wanted to update my smoking status π€
I didn't like the vibe. It felt creepy. Like why are you calling me to ask me this?!?!
And then I went down the rabbit hole of realising people here are going to be mass medically controlled. If you don't follow the rules, you'll get de registered? Denied services? I don't know for sure, but it kinda seems like this. π©
Yes. I'm pretty glad to be leaving a country that feels like it wants to 'protect' aka CONTROL the people. π―
Anyways. Today little miss is doing much better. We're almost ready for our next adventure βοΈ
The birds that squawk at night in Australia are just awful. Soooooooo loud. I don't miss that π
πΈ icq was great π
As a kiwi working in a US company, I always write the date with the month as a word. I can't bring myself to flip the day month format π
Thanks for all you do to make the nostr experience even better ππππ
Yes to this πππ Every moment is priceless π―π
GM at almost dinner time (from Auckland, New Zealand) π₯±
Last night two of my favourites were coughing all night long. Until something like 4am. π
I got no sleep, been feeling like a zombie all day long, but did manage to take little miss 2 to the doctor, she has a chest infection.
Hopefully, soon I'll get some sleep. And get some rest plus organising done tomorrow. π€
