Ahh woohoo, another 2020 traveler πππ Not many of us around! Where were you?! We were over in Vietnam. We basically had the entire country to ourselves while we traveled the whole 18 months. Definitely zero regrets not going home (our government embassy definitely put the pressure aka threats on us π ). I agree, life definitely rewards the bold. π
Absolutely. Make a plan. Stick to it. Book the tickets. Go. Best if you commit to kicking off in 2-3 years so you don't look back wishing you went sooner π―
Freedom to me is sitting on the beach in the afternoon sun watching my kids play.
I'm so grateful to have this life. I'm joyful we had the courage to pursue this dream. I'm grateful we come from a country with a passport that makes this life easier for us. I'm so grateful to Bitcoin for helping us grow our savings as we continue to nomad around the world. I am so excited about what the future will bring. π―
Note: Still working a regular 40 hour week, and will continue to do so for maybe a few more years yet... We didn't sell any wild assets before we started. No house ownership. No big investments. No fancy cars. Not even that much in savings. No back up plan. We are just regular people who were brave enough to risk it all to live to our dreams. β¨
Don't wait to be old to live your dreams. You deserve to live your best life of freedom sooner rather than later. π¦
Absolutely love it π€©
Happy birthday Derek! I hope it's a fabulous day. π
We're hanging out in Dominican Republic for a couple of months. Too many ideas where after here. π€¦ββοΈπ
If that excites you? Don't play small though. π
Thanks for sharing ππππ
Chase the dreams that excite you the most. π―
Yes! Living life rather than just working and grinding away unhappy while the years pass by. I think there is something important in that balance. π―
Oh nice! We lasted 10 months in New Zealand. Everyone was done by about month 3 or 4 though π
Oh man, I want to but likely will have fallen asleep π€£ I'm on a closer timezone now π€©π€©π€©, so if anything earlier happens, count me in. If I'm still awake tonight, I'll be on though! π―π
I wish mainstream people cared more about this π― nostr:note1hxphtp0n2xfyz4mzyyl6dqzqh5m7km0rlk6zxjtgqw7ce5dke5ysey0l0j

Is this soon? Or already started?!
Easy come, easy go... The fast money mindset keeps most people from ever achieving their dreams (I've been there too). π
I've recently been diving back into my money, mindset and investing education. After watching a few more hours of podcasts, I can clearly see how far I've come and can truly appreciate all the lessons along the way. β¨
In the quest to live a life of full time travel, the internet is full of temptation that will ask you to part with your hard earned $$$ with the promise for quick returns or the $10k months. π
The hard reality is, those who keep throwing money at projects and 'opportunities' are often chasing fast money. And many of these types frequently have success for a time, but often fail to build any real lasting wealth. This means when the project finishes up, or sales wind down, many are faced with starting again, and many times from scratch. π―
I was that person. And being that way kept distracting me from putting money into investments that could grow wealth over time. I kept starting again. Building the next thing... And it felt like I would make a little traction but then have to start again. π€¦ββοΈ
What shifted for me was finding remote work that I love and commitment to building my long term wealth. A few years in and we are doing better than ever before. I can actually see a real path to the wild goals I'm chasing. β¨
If you're after a life of travel and freedom with your family, and if you believe the only way to achieve this life is with network marketing or starting a business, but find it's just leading you back to the same starting point over and over again, this is your sign to shift something. Let go of the story that all jobs are crap and find roles that could help you live your lifestyle NOW & build your long term wealth WHILE ENJOYING life. π¦
I think I'm going to talk about this MORE. Because the biggest lie we are told is about making HUGE long term sacrifices (our lifestyle) so we can save up enough to retire or make fast money so we can live our dreams. And it's just not true anymore. π₯
Let me know if this interests you and what your questions are. I'm excited to keep sharing what I've learned over the years. π―
