#Bitcoin wouldn't have made it without these types of people. Now look at it. I don't see how #Nostr is any different.

The people who aren't Bitcoiners probably haven't fought for much and don't care as much about the principles that make Nostr great (yet). They'd likely just end up with another version of what they all already flock to.

I think they will come to Nostr as things get worse, but the seed of liberty is required first. Most people follow and flock to what people like us create. They don't create themselves.

Basically, I don't think Nostr would have happened without Bitcoiners and frankly, it didn't. It didn't exist before.

I think people will adopt it and bring their crowds over once it's ready to receive them. Why? Because those other platforms aren't going to become more free over time. I just don't see it happening. People, whether they know it or not, do prefer freedom. It just takes people like us to build it and make it easy for them.

I had problems with my Damus account as well. Mostly use Primal now. Much better 👍🏻

It was used, so not under warranty. Still prolly dropped a cool 10k on it.

That really bites. Hope you find something better for your next one. I find homestead tools and equipment hit or miss. Love some of the ones I find, and others, like our mower, seem a waste of time. You don’t know until you own it and use it what you’ve ended up with each time.

He got off the tractor to speak to Kingbee. They chatted a minute, then smelled black smoke, looked over to where the tractor was, dang thing was straight up on fire.

Hey nostr, just got off the mower and its time to rest now. I got a start on cleaning the bnb, then decided to jump on the mower and go over the hiking trails. They were getting overgrown due to all the rain we've had recently. Lots more mowing to do this week though. But its been a nice day. Buster the cat is almost back to normal, so we're happy about that. Also, we're moving an IBC tote into the chicken run, so i can just fill it and water the chickens from that. And i can also use it to water the fodder trees i'll be planting in the run. When we get time, the plan is to build a small roof over the tote to catch water into it.
