Chronology
Armed Indonesian military personnel dispersed a humanitarian aid convoy of Acehnese citizens heading to Aceh Tamiang, which was flying the Acehnese flag, on Thursday (December 25, 2025). The dispersal, which took place at night, was reportedly accompanied by violence, resulting in several volunteers being injured.
The convoy was carrying supplies for victims of the massive floods caused by Cyclone Senyar, which is considered the worst in the history of Aceh-Sumatra. The volunteers flew the Acehnese flag as a symbol of solidarity and protest against the slow response, and to urge the declaration of a National Disaster status.

A friend told me. He joined in accompanying the Gerakan Nurani Bangsa group on a visit to Polda Metro Jaya.
The agenda was to meet with Delpedro & some people who have been detained since the protest a month ago.
My friend cried, because one of those detained was a young mother who was forced to stop breastfeeding.
There are no pumping facilities, and it's not possible to bring children to the detention environment.

Nostr solves this issue.
Unlike TikTok or YouTube, there’s no single switch to flip. Streams can be announced over relays, video can be mirrored across servers, and chat/zaps flow peer-to-peer. Censorship targets companies, not protocols and most importantly Nostr isn’t a company.
