Bitcoin is the foundation of what comes next. I fix revenue engines for founders building on it. Host of trustrevolution.co.

There are still a whole lot of Bitcoiners who seem to confuse and conflate the FOSS ethos with the noble goals of capitalists to build profitable businesses.

We are owed nothing.

They’re building a business. It makes sense to prioritize what makes them money: their hardware.

I don’t speak for them, but I’d suggest that they have not and are not building a product for those who want fine-grained control over everything, but a product that “just works” for the other 99%.

A metaphor for Lightning infrastructure? 😅 nostr:note10ukd55vzvqx3rfpe7ylms96gywutwte5tuz33gqchts4pcmnzuwqejengg

Good stuff. I use Tailscale, which has been flawless.

All good for me. I'm on the first-gen Umbrel Home.

Smooth for you?

That was very smooth, minus the brief message dialog on reboot telling me to replace my SD card, which almost gave me a heart attack until I remembered that I'm using an Umbrel Home (no SD card), and then the dialog disappeared and took me to the login screen.

For half the apps I use, I'm convinced there's no code behind this checkbox. They're just trolling.
