This is a brilliant idea - I'm looking at how to leverage nostr for similar purposes - there's a Nostr market place app, not sure where to find it atm or if it's any use for IRL purchases, but definitely options are either available or coming
Just sat and calculated how many sats I need to stack per day to maintain my current lifestyle and save a little - it's not too outrageous, but then, considering where I live in the world I make do with a fairly simple lifestyle and have few wants.
I love the fact that that numbers going to drop over time as well, though it'll still take the same effort, perhaps, to earn it.

I love the idea that, on #nostr, any content you create which people appreciate, could go on earning you small amounts of #btc for years to come - with the right content and enough people #nostr could very easily become a great way for people to earn a proper living or maintain a decent sized side income 🥳

My mate runs a small local charity, I've been trying to get her to look at Geyser, though she has to be careful because of regulations around fundraising. If she can make it work and gets fundraising on lightning I'll use this to split my recieved zaps with her I think.
I've got no idea what she's saying when she sings but I love the sound and I recognise the tune
I used to get overwhelmed with the number of chat apps, private message apps, social media apps, endless fecking emails...
It was just too much information.
Time that could/should have been spent productively was wasted, so I cut back on my interactions dramatically. That coincided quite well with the lock downs and everything that followed.
As I re-enter the fold, so to speak, and get working on the things that matter to me again, I'm considering funneling all requests for comms to here and just using my npub as the only contact info I give out. No more emails, phone calls, WhatsApp, telegram, none of it.
