Yeah, once they're in deep...hard to pivot, usually a particular pain point will get them looking at things the right way - unfortunately many who get burned in crypto then assume bitcoin is the same thing and simply no longer participate - I have a couple of friends who got burned early and now won't touch Bitcoin

Technically theres nothing wrong with legit projects having a go at something - my concern is that energy which could be put to good use on bitcoin beating the banking system is spent elsewhere, but then, I have no right to any say in how other people use their energy, unless it's specifically to cause harm.
I have a friend who plays music out in various towns around our way and I've set him up a lightning address and onchain wallet, I just need to get them printed out for him now and he'll display them while he's playing
