I thought I remembered that! Thanks!
What’s the best avenue to bring creators in? Does Nos have a creator focus program? I want to know where to point the poor souls asking for donations on Twitter
Fair. Honestly I find myself doing it even with simple machine learning models 😂 but I can see how it would be annoying especially in conversations where people don’t actually understand what a deep learning model is
I haven’t drank any kool-aid. The chatGPT most people are using is effectively just a shit ton of knowledges compressed into a transformer. When you ask it to “produce” a hash it doesn’t actually run a calculation. It regurgitates something that the transformer believes is the most likely representation of the hash. The amusing part is that the words it provides as a description imply otherwise and even when asking for follow up clarification it fails to understand the difference.
I’m not convinced about anything, but speaking colloquially, ChatGPT is “convinced” it’s doing something it isn’t and can’t.
I never saw nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a's post about this episode in my main nostr client feed because I didn't happen to open Primal or Damus in the timeframe that she shared it.
What's cool about the new Fountain Nostr integration is we only surface posts related to audio - so I saw it and was able to queue up the episode - and also send Lyn a zap in the process! ⚡️

Very cool. As hard as discoverability was at the beginning of nostr I think it’s starting to be come clear that the open, modular nature of the protocol is actually going to help discovery if used correctly!
Even funnier is asking chatgpt to produce hashes. It’s convinced it can even though all it’s doing is regurgitating fake hashes.
So what was this? Is it a groundswell campaign or were there actually reps from the Harris campaign involved?
Problem with cashu mints is your have to trust someone. Might make sense for smaller funds, but seems pretty silly for 1 btc. Would be curious to hear what you come up with! My first reaction to the taproot link proposed by nostr:npub1melv683fw6n2mvhl5h6dhqd8mqfv3wmxnz4qph83ua4dk4006ezsrt5c24 was that it’s an easy way to prove you are in control of your own address - or you trust whoever has access to your account to the level of funds tied up
Are you locking these funds with the taproot address method or some other way?
Has anyone on nostr bought a newer robo vac with a mop and all the high end mapping features? Is it worth it? The more we’ve looked into it it seems like a no brainer even with a steep up front cost
Interesting US political read for your Friday

Nostur rendering YouTube thumbnails in zap comments is a perfect example of the absurd innovation in modular systems I love about nostr.

There's only one way this goes...

This is amazing 😂
can anyone tell me where I can find nostr communities to join? one of the 'sidebar options' on the noStrudel app is 'communities', but i don't see any when i click it, nor do any come up when i press 'explore' 🤷

Communities never really took off on nostr and they don’t have great client support IMO. Hoping they will make a resurgence at some point as the developers revisit the spec
Only read it once on a vacation, but it was a super fun read - a great break from my normal non-fiction reads
One of the saddest parts about going onto the dead bird site is watching the remnants of bitcoin twitter getting played by the algorithm. I spent way too much time today trying to save lost souls
Some good contextual reading for anyone like me who gets worried when reading posts from centralized companies about building a new, open internet.

Surprised I hadn’t heard about it till today! Has it been around a while?
