I could have started mining Bitcoin in 2011 but I looked at it and thought it seemed like a stupid idea. 🤷

Would anyone be able to point me towards some resources to fully understand what ASICs are actually doing when they are mining bitcoin?

Until now I thought that miners were working a hash backwards but I just saw something that said that is impossible.
