For RSS the FOSS app called Feeder is my go to: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nononsenseapps.feeder
For local music I've found this one called Music Player to be good https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.media.music.mp3.musicplayer but I can't find it in FDroid.
For podcasts the best is PocketCasts.
