It’s inspired by mastodon. However it removes the master - slave relationship. If you are banned from a group you can still use the rest of nostr (unlike mastodon).

I have tried it but it makes no sense at all. There are no closed group rooms. Everything is public. Then you might as well talk to each other in the open nostr network
