After a few years of putting quite a bit of work into some of my other online profiles for the business, the idea of actually OWNING your profile/account (via a private key, not just a temporary 'log in' to a platform), along with having full control over your content really resonated with me, so setting up on nostr is super exciting.

Have you ever done a β€œday use” hotel? Is it worth it?

My gf is kinda unwell and we have a red eye flight tonight.

I’m thinking of getting her a comfy hotel room with a bathtub for 5 hours before the flight.

I’ll probs work from the lobby.

We check out of our Airbnb at 11; flight is at 2130.

Right!? Right?! It's almost as if an agenda was driving the shouting against "ze Bitcoin".

If you ask an environmentalist this question (I have) they just shrug their shoulders.. Nobody told them to be angry about AI energy consumption so they aren't.
