Yes. Displaying. Amethyst KILLS my data, first couple days of each month. I used to be able to watch hundreds of YT videos until last week of each month on 20 GB of data... Nostr just seems to take ALL of my data... Maybe because too many relays? I dunno.

Too many relays could be a reason. Try to limit your relays to below 10. I haven't tested this but maybe some relays are chattier than others.

You can also switch video to WiFi only and it will not preload any videos.

Do you have a note id for the 144p video which is not working?

There are two parts..

1. To send zaps: use external wallet or Connect a NWC wallet by long pressing zap icon

2. To receive zaps: add a lightning wallet to your nostr profile

I’m running my own Lightning node, but I’m not really trying to manage liquidity, optimize fees, or worry about being a “profitable” node. I just want a chill setup that lets me transact with vendors, merchants, exchanges, P2P, and whatever else with minimal headaches.

Are there any solid channel recommendations for a “set it and forget it” approach? Ideally, I’d like to connect to well-connected nodes that help me reliably send payments without needing constant rebalancing.

Fun story: when I was migrating my #Matrix database to a new version of #Postgres, some people were still able to chat since they had accounts on other servers. My account and my server's chatrooms were down, but it wasn't complete downtime for everyone.

This is what #decentralization looks like. 😁

It'd be cool if #Amethyst allowed users to have multiple addresses to get zaps. Other clients could fall back to a secondary or roleplay l tertiary if the primary was down.
