My NextDNS subscription has ended. This year, I decided not to renew it simply because the developers clearly aren’t investing in the project or improving it. Instead, I installed HaGeZi Pro and HaGeZi TIF blocklists on my old MikroTik. With the money I saved from not renewing the subscription, I bought a Xiaomi AX3000T router. Unfortunately, I don’t know which memory manufacturer is in this unit (there are three possible ones), and one of them is known to cause issues. So I’m waiting for a patch in the stable OpenWRT branch before flashing it to use DoH and a local blocklist like I have on my MikroTik. For now, I’ve set up a free DNS from Controld with HaGeZi Pro blocklist: https://controld.com/free-dns
I also set Controld’s DNS on my smartphones, except for the ones using Proton’s DNS. Overall, the results are worse than what I had with NextDNS, but at least it’s free. Besides, I had been meaning to buy a new router for a while anyway.

Unfortunately, third-party builds of mobile Firefox have gotten really bad lately (same goes for the official ones), so I switched to Brave. It’s full of commercial junk, but if you disable or avoid it, the browser is actually quite decent.

Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I watched the first two films. "28 Days Later" basically turns into a comedy by the end — a mailman taking out a bunch of sex-crazed soldiers. It’s not a bad movie, but it’s absolutely ridiculous. "28 Weeks Later" is just garbage.
So it’s not exactly surprising that people aren’t rushing to see the new one.
That said, in the horror fan community, it is a big deal. Everyone’s talking about it.

The new Autograph razor is finally in my hands. It's hard to comment on it yet — I need to shave with it at least ten times before drawing any conclusions. The first shave (with a Rapira Platinum Lux blade) resulted in a DFS or even DFS-, but I wasn't really trying too hard. There was no burning sensation after the alcohol-based aftershave, just one red spot in the mustache area, which is to be expected with a new razor, especially considering the GAP is not small (0.9).
