"You can now prune the bitcoin data from 60 GB to 2 GB 😎🤙"
Nowadays:
"You gotta have atleast 500 GB, or 100 GB if you prune. But keep in mind, pruning might result in performance issues with your lnd node, so better ready up that 500 GB SSD - or 5 TB if you wanna future proof for the coming months 🤡🤞" 🤣
Yeah that was a bit unprecise 🙈. Lets say it like this, imho if you don't own your lightning address, but it is hosted by a third-party domain, you are not fully self-custodial 😅.
Planned to install one last week, but stopped after not finding a single uptodate docker compose example with a pruned bitcoin core node + lnd. And most of the non compose guides are like 2 years old 🙈. At one point I was starting to wonder if this is some sort of conspiracy to push people towards custodial or fake-self custodial 😂.
Nope nope nope, this does way too much, as a bitcoin-mini I just want a barebones, pruned node, taking up as few system resources as possible. I guess I have to write a docker-compose by hand aiaiai 🙄🤌
Does there exist anything like https://monerosuite.org/ for Bitcoin and Lightning, and why is it so hard to find 🙈?
As soon as Bitcoin becomes mainstream, the public transactions on it, will become a social score.
Good night 🙋♀️🤙
How is the node self-hosting story for Matrix these days? Is easy to get one running?

The issue why there are less maintained, well-alive #foss projects with #freespeech values instead of wokeness, is not because of a lack of talent or determination, but because they don't accept government monopoly money and have to solely rely on voluntary donors. If they don't do that, they either will be eaten by statism or by profit-driven investor interests.
Did they already implement proper encryption? 😅
Similar, but ngit's toolchain seems to go further with the collaborative aspects (e.g. pr functionality)
How to out yourself as a far-left socialist. I start to think that we need a documentary list with foss projects standing for or against #freespeech ...
This looks very cool 😊💯, great work!
I stumbled upon the sentence "ensure all maintainers push to the nostr remote and not git server directly so that state on nostr remains in sync".
What happens if they don't?
Is there a workflow that allows some maintainers to keep working normally over the git server without ngit, while others do?
E.g. what if my project would wanna accept prs via ngit, gitea and email. Is that feasible 🤔?
Yupp, as well as the manipulative, strawman sentence "hate is not an opinion" 🙄
