Finally unboxed the BitBox02 that I got at the last baltic honeybadger with a friend that's not as technical as i am and *wow* it is *really* nice. kinda feel like they nailed the screen UX
biggest gripe is that it doesn't seem to talk to ios devices, which basically makes it a no-op for me long term 😕

the depth of my understanding of the bitcoin landscape is very iceberg-y because so much of the work i've done to understand it isn't very public
probably won't be any time soon either, i struggle to get my work published/finished.
no, i have no idea how i'm used to learning anything. it just strikes me a bit odd, looking around realizing i'm wildly fluent in bitcoin technicals and also realizing that the path to get where i am is pretty uncharted
it's crazy how accessible specs make things, imo
kinda weird to think that a lot of the things i know about bitcoin tech is from implementing a working copy of it for myself
