Depends on the positioning. There could be a place for all: some platforms might filter certain content (Catholic Nostr), some might filter the other (Queer Nostr). Market will decide. Yet I believe the best platform lets the user decide what he doesn't want to see
I do not remove them. Let people think whatever they want.

If you value your publications, you should really return to hosting your own content yourself.
As years go, my old data becomes valuable to me, yet the platforms ceasing to exist one by one taking down my data along the way. Unless you settle with a big corp, but even those aren't guaranteed to stay (see Google Circles).
Perhaps, POSSE β Publish (on your) Own Site, Syndicate Elsewhere) β is a way to go π€. At least for tech savvy people. And tech is more accessible now than ever.
