🌟 Taking a Leap: My Sabbatical Journey 🌟
After 4 incredible years at Amazon, I’ve decided to take a step back and embark on a new journey: a sabbatical. It’s a bittersweet moment to pause a career that has been filled with challenges, growth, and amazing colleagues, but I believe the best adventures often start when we take the time to pause, reflect, and explore.
This sabbatical is about more than taking time off—it’s about investing in myself, pursuing passions I’ve put on hold, and embracing the unknown. Whether it’s traveling, diving into creative projects, volunteering, or simply reconnecting with the things that bring me joy, I’m excited for the personal and professional growth this time will bring.
Stepping away feels scary, but it also feels necessary. Sometimes, the greatest opportunities for growth come not from climbing the next rung on the ladder but from stepping off the ladder altogether to see where your next path might lead.
To anyone considering a sabbatical or simply reevaluating priorities: It’s okay to hit pause. Life is more than milestones or KPIs; it’s about the journey, the connections, and the experiences that shape us.
Thank you to my Amazon work-family for the memories and lessons I’ll carry with me forever. I’m not sure where this sabbatical will lead, but I’m eager to find out. Here’s to the next chapter!
