When your own cooking is better than eating out, you don't eat out to often. But had to go out tonight for the fresh wild caught yellowfin tuna steaks. Extra bonus for the amazing people and t the beautiful sunset.
You can get 4' LED conversion kits at Home Depot or ordered directly from manufacturer. For kitchens, I usually use daylight color temps but they are also available in warm white and some are also dimmable from a wall dimmer. Super easy to do. Contact me if you need help. https://www.homedepot.com/p/toggled-48-in-16-Watt-Daylight-Deluxe-T8-Dimmable-Linear-LED-Tube-Light-Bulb-2-Pack-D416-65321-2/308086234
Not everyone knows whats YAML or YANC means. YAML was first proposed by Clark Evans in 2001 according to WikiPedia and is a very popular markup language (most coders know this). YANC on the other hand was first proposed by me in January 2025 and means "**Yet another Nostr Client**". Take a look at https://github.com/JSKitty/Chatstr (currently Alpha stage and final name is TBD)

No, but you can go the other way.
Parchment paper also works pretty good.

**Nextcloud users**, don't update Collabra Online Built-in CODE Server (ARM64) V 24.4.1002 unless you don't mind not being able to open your ducuments. Wait for a newer patched version or stay on V24.4.902. Not sure if non ARM versions are affected. DYOR.

#SelfHosting community, how do you get notifications about your projects?
I'm setting up a couple of #BASH #Scripts to back things up and notify me about events on my #RaspberryPi, but I've hit some roadblocks. Here's my situation:
- I know #email is one option, but I'm not set up for it yet. My domain is on porkbun.com, but its nameservers point to vultr.com, where my #WordPress site is hosted. The Vultr server is managed by a friend, so I don't have access to add #DNSRecords for platforms like #Brevo. I've asked him to add the records but am waiting on that.
- I've been using a #Discord webhook, but I've run into issues with rate limiting when scripts send too many messages. Long messages also cause errors.
Now, I'm exploring other ways to send notifications. Does anyone have suggestions for reliable methods or tools that work well in self-hosted setups?

FYI, DNS records are at your DNS provider, porkbun, nothing to do with vultr.

Trying Hetzner for the first time as well, so far so good...
It's worse than you think. Every time you spend BTC the change is returned possibly to a new or separate change address. This address is now linked back to you. Also if you spend from multiple inputs, it can be assumed that all the addresses also belong to you further increasing the amount of information that can be collected. So knowing one address you can link and track all the other addresses you control. Once a symbol of freedom, now dominated by big capital, surveillance, centralization and controlled by big money and governments, Bitcoin has strayed far from its roots. It is not going anywhere anytime soon but at the same time it is not the peer to peer digital cash as Satoshi had envisioned. A quick example - all my favorite breweries that once accepted BTC no longer do so, slow transactions, high fees, tax compliance......
