Not that this should matter, but I’m running my Alby Hub node on a Proxmox unprivileged container. Works great. Backups are easy this way, too. Don’t know how it is with Umbrel.
I’ve had no issues with Alby Hub since I set it up a month ago. My only complaint is that I can’t transact with more people and companies with it. 😀
Plenty of people want you to fail, or at least, not do better than they are.
If it doesn’t, you pay me 100k sats.
Discussing wife comparisons with the current wife is dangerous territory.
I’ve reached the end of my energy stores for today. Tomorrow is another day. GN Nostr.
I can relate to this kind of F* up. Pretty much everyone in programming can. It’s all a bunch of choices of what to do and sometimes you decide this particular path in your code cannot ever happen… until it does. Expensive lesson for them to learn.
Could be and that’s OK. Run with it. The weird thing is we all have our things that make us who we are. Don’t let it hold you back. I spent a lot of time in my life being held back, mostly self-imposed.
My excuse is I’ve had ADHD my entire life. I let it shape me for a while. I’m 50 years old now and still am affected by it. It doesn’t go away, but I’ve learned to deal with it and work around it. If you recognize it, that’s most of the battle. You can’t fix what you can’t recognize.
You can decide if you’re going to let it hold you back or if you’re going to accept this trait about yourself and push it aside.
I had to have a 78 year-old guy teach me this before I was able to get out from under myself. Where did he learn this? He’s got his hang ups, too, that he learned from and pushed them aside. Smart guy.
No worries. It happens. I could have written it better. Maybe a smiley face or two might have made all the difference. 😀
Well, if dealing with the medical insurance companies and the large hospitals is any indication, it’s pretty bad.
GM you fine people of Nostr.
I just went back and re-read my sarcastic comment to you, but I read it twice.. once as the jokester that I am, my intended voice, and once in a pissed off, are you stupid, kind of voice. It’s amazing how the same words can be taken in two totally different ways. This kind of thing caused a lot of fights between my lady and me back in the day. She didn’t know how to take my jokes and sarcasm then I’d get all bent. I guess we learned to deal with each other because we don’t hardly get into fights anymore and that’s a good thing. A saint 😇 I am not.
I appreciate the comment. No hard feelings. It reminded me of times where I said something and then realized that I got it wrong. This is made worse by not being able to edit notes on here. All we can do is learn and laugh and stack sats (thank you, by the way). 😀
I almost did the same thing just a couple days ago. 😀
Well, peeps, I’m rapidly fading in front of the phone here so I guess I should go tell the kids to go to bed and go upstairs and give it up for the night. GN all.
